Blueray/Genesis Upgrade Path:
So you have an RTF Blueray or Genesis/Legend and your debating what you should upgrade on the helicopter?
Here is my recommended list in order of priority:
1) If you are crashing often, Start with Metal gear'd servos.
2) If you have the Blueray SE or the Legend, then get the $39 Metal Head/Tail combo.
3) Get a high speed digital Tail Servo (at least .09sec/60degree @4.8V)

Upgrade to a better gyro (spend at least $75 on this, your gonna have
to do lots of research to figure this out and be happy with your
choice) Often, your Tail servo and Gyro should be upgraded at the same
time and you should use a combination that other people are happy with
on a 450 size helicopter. RUN TO THE FORUMS!
5) Look at getting a
full featured Computer radio. Note that some Rx's like Spektrum
work better if you run a seperate BEC for the Rx/Servo power so
research that as well.
6) If you want more performance, research a
higher C rated battery (get recommendations) as well as a more powerful
motor. You may wish to look at running higher RPMS (3000+) through a
pinion change. RESEARCH! RESEARCH!
Here are some combinations/parts that I've been happy with:
1) Hitec HS65MG servos
2) Hyperion DS11-GCB Tail servo
3) Futaba GY401 Gyro
4) Logitech 2100T gyro (both the gyro alone as well as the narrow pulse width servo combo)
5) Turnigy 3800Kv motor
6) Zippy/Turnigy 25C 2200mAh batteries
7) Performance Plus RC 30C batteries
8) Spektrum DX7 with AR 6100 Rx (Also look at the new AR6110)
